Final Exam Days

Have an amazing summer! (Here's a recap of the final exam day agendas for all class periods.)

Tuesday: Period 5 and 6
Wednesday: Period 7 (I do not have a period 3 class.)
Thursday: Period 2 and 4

Agenda: (Period 7 scantron was first and then Chromebooks second.)

1. Chromebook time: 

A. Turnitin.com (This must be used for plagiarism.)
See me to get help with turnitin.com and or upload your Unit 4 essay if you have not already.

B. Google classroom (100% success) Everyone turned in a Project! :)
Upload any Elizabethan project that needs to be revised. If you share this with me (due to a Google classroom issue) then let me know so I can give you credit.

C. Gallery Walk: Please complete your Gallery Walk and submit this to Google classroom if you did not already.

2. Final Exam Scantron: 50 questions (25 points)
Please mark all answers on your scantron. Turn in your scantron and test to me. Use pencil.

3. Turn in any last chance late work and ODD Perfect Mate revisions. ODD got theirs last and everyone got the same amount of class periods to revise.

4. Unit 1 (Volume 1) Donations for Summer School
If you still want to donate your Volume 1 workbook for summer school since they will use Unit 1 which was not used this year then take it to the library. Thank you for the donations I got during final exam days! :)

Friday, May 31st and Monday, June 3rd

Homework: Bring an independent (non electronic) quiet activity to do after you finish your final exam. Chart of Days and the Study Guide answers are in Google classroom. The key for the counter- and vocabulary handouts for Act II are also in Google classroom.

1. Drama Terms and Character Charts are due on your final exam day and may be used during your final exam scantron. Sharing is not permitted.
2. All work (late or absent) must be submitted by the end of your final exam. Please do this in advance as I can't guarantee how much time will be left once you have finished your scantron. This includes the Gallery Walk unless you were absent. If you have a verified absence I can excuse you from the Gallery Walk. Use Google classroom.
3. If you want to donate your Volume 1 workbook for summer school that would be awesome! Only Unit 1 is needed and this unit was not used this year. You can even just take out this Unit if you want to keep the rest of your workbook. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. :)

Check Google classroom and turnitin.com this week for electronic submission graded assignments in case IC is not available. 

Grades will be finalized by 1 p.m. on Friday, June 7th. Please note that there were numerous opportunities to turn in late work and extra credit throughout the semester. 

Final Exam

The Final Exam will be Scantron ONLY. I eliminated the short answer part due to the Gallery Walk on the Elizabethan Time Period that will done next class.

Come to lunch to type your essay, get help, complete late work, review, ask questions and or have a place to eat lunch. Students may eat food during lunch help.

Just give me a few minutes to take a quick break and I should be back in my room at about 12:25 p.m.

Wednesday, May 29th

Homework:
1. Study for your final exam by completing all reviews before your final and studying.
2. Period 4 - Perfect Mate Revisions are due by next class period. (I didn't realize this until I checked the Blogger.)
Period 6 Perfect Mate Revisions are due on your final exam day.
3. Unit 4 Essay (Due in turnitin.com by 11:59 p.m.) Enroll in the new class. The class id and password is in Google classroom twice. I added it to the top for you to see and it was projected or on the whiteboard in class today.
4. Finish Reading Act V (Do the questions on the back of the Act IV questions.)

Be patient about Extra Credit. I have a high volume so it may not be added until grades are due.

• 4 year plan (This is if it is Incomplete or Missing in Infinite Campus. I will add extra credit for those who did this early before next class period.)
• Drama Terms and Extra Credit (Keep working on these. They are due on the final exam day.)
• Finish Act IV (Complete Questions.)
• "TMDG" and R + J late work is due on your last day of regular class.  This is June 3rd. 
• Period 5 and 7: Due on the final exam day (Perfect Mate Revisions)

Due today: Extra credit (5 options) + Drama Terms Unscramble (Is Romeo or Juliet more dramatic?) Answer this question with a reason along with the unscramble to get full credit.

3. Work on your essay (Unit 4) page 494 or other work for English class. See Google classroom for the class id and password if you want to submit early.
